Christmas In The Hangar 2024

Christmas is a time to come together, and as the festive season approaches, we are pleased to announce a special Christmas Supporter Afternoon in the Navy Wings Hangar on Monday 16th December from 1300-1600.

The HMS Heron Royal Navy Volunteer Band will be joining us to play Christmas carols beside the aircraft and we will be serving mince pies, mulled wine and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the afternoon.

Our amazing engineers will be on hand as usual to give updates on the aircraft and talk through progress on our restoration projects and our legendary Lynx Bar will be decorated with plenty of tinsel!

In the true spirit of Christmas in the Fleet Air Arm, there is one important condition, however, and that is we are asking everyone to join in the festivities by wearing a Christmas jumper! Don't hold back - the merrier the better! At the end of the afternoon the winner of the most festive Christmas jumper will receive a Navy Wings prize!

To cover costs there is a nominal charge of £8 per head for this special event.
