Christmas in Petite, a multivenue artisan market and community fundraiser returns, this November 15th and 16th, Saturday and Sunday, 10-4PM, in Petite Riviere, Nova Scotia.The vibrant south shore community of Petite Riviere is busy preparing a warm welcome for your visit to this year's event, a community fundraiser for local families facing challenges over the holidays and beyond. This year it's more important than ever to stand together to support one another as we celebrate the spirit of community.
Seven locations in the village will feature local makers offering a wide range of unique, handmade gift options. In addition, Surfside Eats, Ospreys Nest Pub and Ploughman's Lunch will be open for lunch, and the LaHave Firehall and Wesley United Church will have coffee and homemade snacks available.
The market locations for this year are: The Maritime Painted Fine Art Gallery, The Petite Riviere Firehall, River House, The Petite Riviere Elementary School, The Wesley United Church, Mariner Craft, and The LaHave Fire Hall.
Donations will be collected by church volunteers who will provide Christmas Hampers to families in the Petite Riviere and the south shore area. Donations of any value are wonderful and every bit helps us make this season brighter for families in need. Donations of 20$+ make you eligible to win 1 of 7 great artisan gift packages, with an average value of 240$ All donations of any amount are also welcomed. All donations will be collected at the Petite Fire hall.
