Christmas in July Volunteer Event

In addition to furniture, it is quite common for us to receive donations of beautiful Christmas and holiday décor items. These items have been saved for our Sharing of the Season celebration.
Participating families are invited to Sharing of the Season, where they will be given a Christmas tree (while supplies last) and an opportunity to “shop” (at no cost) for other holiday decor items that we’ve gathered throughout the year!
The beautiful holiday decor has piled up, and we want to get a start on organizing before November! Sign up to volunteer using the "ticket" link. This is a free event for volunteers.
Some activities include:
- assembling and testing donated Christmas trees
- boxing and labeling Christmas trees
- sorting donated decor into types and colors
- labeling bins and boxes
- spray painting printer paper boxes
While most jobs will be inside the air-conditioned part of the building, some jobs won't!! It'll be hot, hot, hot in the warehouse, so please wear weather-appropriate clothing; however, closed-toed shoes are required!
