Christmas in July Scrappy Winter Trees Workshop

In this workshop, we will demo how to layout a simple triangle tree shape from scrap glass, foil the pieces, and solder to a brass rod. We'll add optional wires and beads and then mount into a birch branch. Choose to complete 1 tree or a series of 3.

Ages 10+ and all skill levels welcome, but prior soldering experience is encouraged. It takes a litle extra patience to get the wires to solder, slow and steady is key but it's not the easiest!

We will be working with sharp glass and chemicals. Safety glasses, garden gloves for cutting and nitrile gloves for soldering are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
