Celebrate Christmas in July. Enjoy a mince pie and a giggle as we make a Christmas stocking.
With permission from the lovely Ann at Woollen Knots we will be making either of these 2 stockings. Don't worry if you've never done colour work before this is the perfect project to help you learn this skill. We will also be doing a latvian braid again don't worry if this is new to you.
All yarn, pattern and refreshment will be provide you'll just need your notions and 5 mm (US 8 ) 80 cm circular needles/dpns (or a short circular)
4 mm (US 6) 80 cm circular needles/dpns for toe & heel.
The stockings are adorable and a cute little project and if you want to gift them you'll have pleanty of time to make more.
You do need to know how to knit to take part but you don't have to be an expert just know the basics.
