For the fourth year in a row, the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Fund invites the community to celebrate a unique and heartwarming event: Christmas in July. This special gathering takes place on Thursday, July 9 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, offering an evening filled with joy, entertainment, and generosity. The goal is simple yet powerful: to raise funds that support local children and families in need. If you are looking for a memorable summer event that combines festive spirit with meaningful impact, this is the perfect occasion to mark on your calendar.
This event offers more than just a party. For a ticket price of $67, attendees enjoy a three-hour scenic cruise on the beautiful waters of the Greater Lakes Region. The cruise provides a relaxing backdrop for an evening of connection and celebration. Alongside the stunning views, guests will be treated to a delicious buffet dinner featuring a variety of dishes to satisfy different tastes.
Live entertainment is a highlight of the night with DJ Ghoulay playing music along with dancing, karaoke, and a photo booth. Katie Dobbins will be playing on the upper deck as well. The PowerChords will perform on the boardwalk, bringing energetic and engaging music to the event before you head out on the lake. Their lively tunes set the perfect mood for a summer evening filled with fun and community spirit.

A special benefit returns this year for early ticket buyers. For every ticket purchased before June 28, a free ticket will be donated to local children in need. These children will be invited to join the Kids Daytime Cruise on August 5, another event coordinated by the Children’s Fund.
