Missing those cool days of Christmas? How about a Christmas in July decorating class!
Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Texas Cookie Garden is here to help! In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).
We would like to invite you to 2 hour cookie decorating class where we will decorate 6 Christmas in July themed cookies using 4 icing colors.
You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! More details on refunds, things to bring, cancelations, and FAQs are below - looking forward to having you with us
Add a Sugar Cookie Class Kit to your Order!
Pre-order an extra sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to make more just for fun or teach a child or friend! The class kits come with everything you'll use in class including step by step instructions so you can decorate from home! For certain themes (mostly holiday classes) I may have extra kits for purchase in class at full price, but I highly recommend pre-ordering at early bird pricing to guarantee that you get one if you're interested.
How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a 3 weeks or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home.
Allergens: Eggs, gluten, milk, and nuts are present in the kitchen used to bake these cookies and icing. Please consider your allergies before registering.
General Cancellation Policy for Classes:
Cancellation At Least 7 Days from Class
:( I understand that life happens so that’s why I give you until the Tuesday the week of class, to cancel for a refund. Eventbrite does not refund their fees so the best value would be to transfer to an upcoming class. To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps.
Cancellation Within 3 Days of Class
Cancellation is not eligible for a refund, however, I can transfer your tickets to another class. Please note, this transfered ticket would not be eligible for a refund, even if cancelled within that class's cancellation window.
Cancellation Within 2 Days of Class
If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend or stop by and grab your kit during the class window and enjoy decorating them at home as a DIY activity. If I'm made aware that you'll be picking up the kit before 10am of class day, I can have the cookies heat sealed so that they remain fresh and soft for 3 weeks until you're ready to enjoy your kit.
You Don't Show Up Or Email Prior To Class:
If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time to arrange pickup of your kit, and you do not show up for class, your cookies will be forfeited.
Eventbrite Fees: The total paid includes Eventbrite's fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket for a refund, I'll give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. :( The only exception they offer is if the class is cancelled on my end.
