Coming this December 19th and 20th: Christmas in Antigonowhere, an original Christmas play about a group of come-from-aways who fall in love with the nicest town in Nova Scotia. This special two-night-only event (Dec 19 and 20) will be a live play reading and Christmas song singalong featuring a gaggle of your favorite local actors - talented folks you’ve seen on stage with Music of the Night, Ships of 1801, Villains Theatre, Antigonish Improv, The Teasdale Arts Group, and Theatre Antigonish. **Tickets are now available at Antigonish 5¢ to Dollar at 245 Main Street in Antigonish. Tickets cost $10 (or pay more if you can). **
Christmas in Antigonwhere was written by Laura Teasdale, Justin Gregg, and Ranke de Vries, and is packed full of Antigonish references and local in-jokes. First performed in 2019 at the Bauer Theatre, we will be at the Eleanor Mutimer Theatre at the Dr. JH Gillis Regional High School for this special performance. Proceeds from the event will be donated to support Dr. J students attending Drama Fest.
The show starts at 7:00. Doors open at 6:30. There will be an intermission, and refreshments will be available. All ages welcome.
