For many, Christmas is not only a season of joy—it's also a season when grief, loneliness, or longing can feel especially heavy. Whether this is the first Christmas without someone you love, or simply a time of year that stirs complex emotions, this service offers a space where your feelings are honoured with compassion and care.
Christmas in a Minor Key is a reflective worship experience that acknowledges the shadows and quiet places of the season. Through music, prayer, poems, communion, and candlelight, we create room for remembering, lament, and gentle hope. It’s a sacred space to breathe, to be held, and to know that you are not alone.
What to Expect
Quiet, reflective music
Space for prayerful reflection
Poems and readings that honour grief and tenderness
Communion
Candlelight moments of hope and remembrance
This gathering is especially meaningful for anyone navigating loss, heartache, or emotional heaviness at this time of year, but all are welcome.
