Erik McIntyre is a guitarist and bandleader based in Flint, Michigan. He is known for bringing varieties of musicians together who specialize in different shades of music inspired by jazz & blues from the 1920s-30s with an emphasis on improvisation and musical interaction. In addition to performing as “Erik & Friends”, he works with the Frenchtown Playboys, Third Coast Swing Band, Theatre Bizarre Orchestra, and more. In addition to performing with groups around Michigan, he is part of a community of early jazz aficionados that span the USA.
