Christmas Gelli Printing Workshop – Create Your Own Festive Prints

Get creative this December with a fun, hands-on workshop exploring colour, texture and pattern using Gelli plates.
About this Event

Join us at Upstairs Gallery at Spirals for a relaxed and playful introduction to Gelli plate printing.

Gelli printing is a simple and versatile printmaking technique that uses a soft, reusable printing plate to create unique prints without the need for a printing press.

In this workshop, you'll experiment with colour, layering, textures, stencils and everyday objects to create a collection of original prints with a festive twist.

Discover how to build up images, combine colours and create unexpected effects as you explore the possibilities of this exciting printmaking process.

You'll use your prints to make your own Christmas cards, gift tags and decorative papers, perfect for wrapping presents, giving as gifts or keeping for yourself.
