Christ Church Cathedral invites you and your loved ones to experience the profound beauty and reverence of our Christmas Eve services on Tuesday, December 24th.

As Houston's oldest continually worshipping congregation, established in 1839, the Cathedral offers a unique and deeply meaningful place to celebrate the birth of Christ. We offer four distinct services to pause, reflect, and celebrate the anticipation and joy of the season.

All are warmly welcome, regardless of denomination, background, age, orientation, or gender identity. We invite you to be part of our history and experience the beauty and reverence of this holy season with us.

Worshipping at Christ Church Cathedral is a unique opportunity to connect with Houston's spiritual roots.

• Established in 1839: The Cathedral predates the Republic of Texas's annexation to the U.S. and has been a spiritual center for the city for nearly two centuries.
• A Gathering Place: This is a chance for Christians across Houston to join the city's oldest congregation for a traditional and joyful celebration of Christmas.

Join us for one of our four distinct services:

• 3:00 p.m. – Holy Eucharist Rite II (Contemporary Language): Features our Beloved Christmas Pageant! A wonderful service for all ages, especially families. Childcare is available.
• 6:00 p.m. – Holy Eucharist, Rite II (Spanish) (Contemporary Language): Childcare is available.
• 8:00 p.m. – Holy Eucharist Rite II (Contemporary Language): Enjoy a special Organ Prelude starting at 7:30 p.m. before the service. Childcare is available.
• 11:00 p.m. – Holy Eucharist Rite I (Traditional/Classic Language): Join us for a beautiful Festival Prelude starting at 10:30 p.m. leading up to the final service of the night. Childcare is not available.

Free parking is available for all attendees in the Cathedral Parking Garage located at 511 San Jacinto (entrance between Texas and Prairie).

Children are always welcome and encouraged to attend all our services! Professionally staffed childcare is available for the 3:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. services.
