On Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025), Players Retreat will be closed for regular service—but the doors are still open for one of our favorite traditions: the annual community Christmas Potluck. Gus will be cooking his traditional holiday ham, Ana and Tilly will be behind the bar, and the bar opens at 6 p.m. 🎄🍹Guests are invited to bring a dish to share or simply stop by with an appetite and some holiday cheer. We’ll have a sign-up sheet at the restaurant for potluck dishes, or you can call us at 919-755-9589 and we’ll gladly add your name and dish to the list. It’s a relaxed, welcoming way to celebrate Christmas with neighbors, friends, and the Players Retreat family—we hope to see you there.
