Azzurro Italian Restaurant & Bar, located at 18001 Collins Avenue, nestled along the picturesque Sunny Isles Beach, warmly welcomes locals and visitors to savor the season's joy with a Christmas Brunch, full of both Floridian and traditional holiday flavors.On Wednesday, December 25, Azzurro Italian Restaurant & Bar will offer a festive and vibrant atmosphere during its annual Christmas Brunch. Guests can kick off their meal with a Signature Floridian Sunshine Chamomile - Lemonade and then choose from a delightful array of "Stocking Stuffers," featuring options like calabaza pumpkin bisque with braised beef and potatoes, charcuterie and antipasti, Italian and Spanish cured meats, olives, beet hummus, and artisanal cheeses, along with an assortment of bread and crackers. "Santa's Salad Bar" will include a chili Boniato potato salad, local vine tomato bruschetta, and a special Christmas chicken salad, complemented by a variety of greens, berries, and tasty toppings and dressings.
For seafood enthusiasts, the fully-stocked Seafood Bar boasts spiced shrimp cocktail, King crab legs, dill gravlax salmon, Peruvian tuna tiradito with with aji amarillo aioli, and oysters on the half shell with cilantro-lime mignonette. Those in the mood for more traditional holiday dishes can choose from slow-roasted turkey with a white wine, sage and tarragon pan jus and classic Christmas ham, adorned with a Sunshine Mango and Haitian rum glaze, carved to order and served with buttered potato rolls and honey mustard.
Breakfast lovers can indulge in country-style Eggs Benedict with buttermilk fried chicken, caramelized onions and black pepper Hollandaise. Additional culinary delights will include local pan-seared Grouper with coconut tamarind beurre blanc and Prime Rib with Santa's secret spice rub and a mushroom ragout. Scrumptious sides will include green beans amandine, butter whipped potatoes, pancetta cornbread stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
Younger guests can take their pick from a special buffet featuring favorites such as chicken tenders, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and buttered corn. Guests who want to have a hands-on dessert experience can visit Santa’s Workshop and decorate their own sugar cookies with icing, sprinkles, M&M’s and chocolate shavings. An assortment of delicious desserts in the “Made by Little Elves” area will include Yule Log with raspberry jam and spiced buttercream, French Macarons, mini apple tarts and festive pumpkin "s'mores."
The brunch offers both indoor and terrace seating options, with two seatings, at 12:30 and 2:30 pm. The price is $85 per person (ages 13 and up), $35 for children 4-12 years old, and free for children ages 3 and under. For an additional $15, guests can enjoy unlimited Mimosas or champagne.
