Event Duration
• Week 1: Decks Built & Delivered — December 19
• Week 2: Play Week (with upgrades allowed) — December 26 (may be changed to Jan 2 depending on holiday schedules)
Deck Construction Rules
• Minimum Deck Value: $50 (based on TCGplayer Low)
• Premium Tier/ Maximum Value: $100 (based on TCGplayer Low)
pods will be decided based on price, when possible.
• Foils & Special Arts: Gifters’ choice
• Basic Lands: Not counted toward price
Deck Assignment
• Deck recipients are randomized — you build for another player!
• Each participant submits 3 options, choosing:
• Named Commander or Color Identity
• Deck Theme (tribal, archetype, flavor, etc.)
Gifting Guidelines
• Gifter must provide:
• Completed Deck (sleeved and ready to play)
• Decklist — printed or sent via social media/messaging
• Once the deck is finished, bring it to DoubleLooks Games.
• You may playtest before gifting.
• Leave the deck with staff after playtesting.
• If a player cannot attend as a gifter or recipient, they must inform:
• Event Staff • DoubleLooks Games
• If you do not build a deck, you cannot participate in the exchange —
however, you may join the following week’s party.
Participation Rules
• One deck per gifter, ready by December 19
• Deck must match agreed budget and theme
• If unable to attend, deliver deck to recipient ASAP
