Hi all! I'm part of an organization called the Christmas Clearing Council. Part of our annual giving is the assembly of about 70 bikes for free distribution, happening this year at 9 a.m. on Nov. 15 at a small warehouse on the east side of Waukesha. I could use a crew of people who know their way around basic bike maintenance. In past years, we get a lot of volunteers who want to help, but just don't know their way around bikes. We're talking forks installed backwards, handlebars at awkward positions. That makes my QA checks take a long time. These are dept. store bikes that require some basic assembly. They're not high-price bikes to begin with, so proper assembly is important. We assemble a range of bikes, from little trainers to mountain bikes. It's pretty easy if you have basic maintenance skills. PM me if this is something you could help with for 2-3 hours on 11/15. Location shown is approximate.
A few tools are required. If you have a set of Allen wrenches and an adjustable wrench, that should suffice.
