York Railway Institute Band and Skipton Choral Society join forces once again to provide a Christmas extravaganza of carols and music for Christmas! A new arrangement of Ralph Vaughan William’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols for brass band and voices provides the centrepiece of the programme, which will also include newly arranged movements from Handel’s Messiah and favourite Christmas carols. David Lancaster has York Railway Institute firing on all cylinders after a stunning concert in Selby Abbey with York Chapter House Choir, and Robert Webb has Skipton Choral Society in fine voice following their recent concert at Bolton Abbey.
