We are getting in the Christmas spirit - in October! 🎄
Book Pillows of Hope has a unique opportunity to provide book pillows for 400 children in Cartagena, Colombia. These are children who do not usually receive any Christmas presents. Many find themselves homeless or living in unfavorable conditions. 🎄
Each book pillow sent to the children of Cartagena will come with an age-appropriate book and a handcrafted Christmas card made by Book Pillows of Hope supporters. The children of Cartagena speak Spanish, but you do not need to know Spanish to make a card! At the event, will be a list of appropriate holiday greetings in Spanish to choose from to include in your card(s). 🎄
We will have the supplies, so stop by the community room at the Franklin Road Library Branch anytime between 11 am and 1 pm to make a Christmas card! 🎄
