Join us for a calm and creative afternoon learning the traditional craft of bookbinding with a Christmas twist! You’ll create your own hard, fabric-covered notebook completely from scratch. At the wonder House of Joy.
In this friendly, guided workshop, you’ll choose from a range of fabrics to design a notebook that reflects your personal style. You’ll then be taken step-by-step through the process of hand sewing your pages, constructing the cover, and assembling your book using traditional techniques.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to use essential bookbinding tools, as well as techniques for trimming, gluing, and finishing your notebook to give it a clean, professional look. Whether you’d like to use your finished piece as a journal, sketchbook, or a thoughtful handmade Christmas gift, you’ll leave with something both practical and personal.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who enjoy crafts and want to try something new. All materials and tools are provided, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the process.
