It's time again for our annual Christmas Bazaar Craft Fair here at Lenoir Community Church. We will be holding it on Saturday, November 8, 2024, from 9 am to 2 pm. This event is for handmade crafts only...not yard sale or mass-produced items. We've changed the date so that crafts can reflect autumn, Thanksgiving, winter, and Christmas for extra selections! Also, we're not competing with other events that traditionally are held on the first weekend of December.Spaces are going quickly; we are already at 50% capacity from interest expressed during our annual fall yard sale. Each table is 8' x 3' and includes 2 chairs for a $15 fee. You may also request an empty space for larger items, also $15. Bleacher wall spaces with additional display space on the bleachers are $30. We are handling the advertising. Reservations and payments must be made before Friday, October 24, either by mailing it in or coming into the office. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. We ask that you do not reserve space if you cannot commit to the hours of the event. It is unfair to shoppers and other vendors if you pack up before the end. Please let us know immediately if you want a space so that we can add you to the list. Also, we are limiting the number of each type of craft, so we need to know what you're offering. Once we have enough of one type of craft, those with that craft wishing to attend will be placed on the waiting list in case of cancellation or failure to remit payment by the cutoff date. The building will be open for you to set up on Friday, November 7, from 8 am to 7 pm. If you cannot set up on Friday, we ask that you arrive by 7:30 am on Saturday. If your area is not occupied by 8 am it will be removed or sold to another vendor. The men of the church will be selling breakfast and lunch during the craft fair.
