Christmas Baroque at the Assembly Rooms

Lincoln Pro Musica’s string players perform a selection of Baroque Christmas music, the ideal prelude to the Christmas period.

Orchestra leader Caroline Siriwardena is the soloist in Vivaldi’s ever popular ‘Winter’ from ‘The Four Seasons’ and Lincolnshire Soprano Helen Winter joins the orchestra to perform well-known arias from Handel’s Messiah.

The concert also includes with Corelli’s Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 8 – better known as the ‘Christmas Concerto’, and Schiassi's Christmas Symphony
