Christmas at The Lexicon

Christmas comes to life at The Lexicon on Friday November 21 2025 with the return of the town centre’s festive lights. Santa will appear at the top of an eight-metre double-decker red bus to turn on the lights at 5.30pm.

Opening Saturday November 22 Santa’s Grotto will return to The Lexicon set in a beautiful winter forest. Friendly fauns and cheerful elves will guide families through enchanting storytelling and a hologram show on the journey to Santa’s woodland grotto.

A glittering gift selfie station will offer the perfect photo backdrop with visitors invited to enter The Lexicon’s ‘Snap Tag and Share’ competition throughout the festive period. Families can also join a free trail to search for hidden presents for the chance to win one of three £50 gift cards.

The Lexicon Express will be lit with dazzling fairy lights while the much-loved Festive Market will return with wooden huts offering gifts food and drinks. Visitors can also look forward to plenty of live music and seasonal entertainment.
