Our Christmas Around the World Homeschool Enrichment Classes introduce students to various Christmas traditions from around the world. Classes are taught by Marissa Bryson - a 14+ year home educator. Mrs. Marissa is a mother of 3 bright creative thinkers who enjoyed having Christmas Around the World and Heritage Nights a part of their Christmas seasons growing up.
By exploring diverse cultural Christmas practices, these classes aim to promote an understanding and appreciation of global customs and festivities giving students a wider view of the world with its unique traditions and foods. Class sizes are purposefully smaller to promote more hands-on learning opportunities. The following countries will be studied via various arts, crafts and culinary recipes: Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, Sweden.
Registration is for 6 classes over 3 weeks: Dec. 3&5, 10&12, 17&19
