Experience a German-inspired Christmas Market at Principal Park December 5 - 8, 2024. New this year: Yuletide Hall After Hours: Friday & Saturday from 9pm – 10pm
Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and flavors of the holidays as you participate in a 750-year-old tradition.
Shop regional vendors selling old-world, hand-crafted products from wooden vendor stalls; enjoy lively performances of polka music, traditional dance and choirs in Yuletide Hall; participate in children's activities; sip Glühwein (warm, mulled wine) and savor European beer.
Iowa European Cultural Connection, a 501(c)3, tax-exempt non-profit, produces Christkindlmarket Des Moines. This event is free and open to the public. Dates and times are as follows:
Thursday, December 5: 5pm - 9pm
Friday, December 6: 11am – 9pm
Saturday, December 7: 11am – 9pm
Sunday, December 8: 11am – 5pm
Yuletide Hall After Hours: Friday & Saturday from 9pm – 10pm
