Come join us this Christmas Eve for our annual Christingle service! Get into the Christmas spirit with a beautiful candle-lit service, heart warming carols, and enjoy a mince pie, or 2! This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages – from the very youngest to the oldest - so bring your loved ones as we share Jesus’ birth, together.
What is a Christingle?
During the service, every child will receive a Christingle. Each element of a Christingle has a special meaning and helps to tell the Christmas story:
The orange represents the world.
- The red ribbon symbolises the love of Christ wrapped around the whole world.
- The sweets represent all the good things that God gives us.
- Finally, we light the candles together, symbolising Jesus’s light in the world bringing hope to all people.
Although this is a free event, we are asking that people book a space. It helps us manage the service and to ensure that all children get a Christingle.
