The 2026 Christian Educators Retreat will convene on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the Whispering Woods Hotel and Convention Center in Olive Branch, MS. Our theme for this year is, Renew, Rekindle, Reconnect, calls us to return to the source of our strength and purpose. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: “But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
As Christian educators, we give, we teach, we lead, and we pour into others. Yet in doing so, our own vessels can run low. This retreat is a sacred pause — a time to renew our strength, to rekindle the flame of passion for ministry, and to reconnect with God and one another in fellowship and purpose.
We are not here simply to rest; we are here to be restored. We are not gathering just for sessions; we are gathering for transformation. In this space, we allow the Spirit of God to breathe new life into us, that we may return to our churches, our classrooms, and our communities with fresh energy, deeper wisdom, and renewed joy.
This retreat also gives us the gift of celebrating the remarkable legacy of Dr. Carmichael D. Crutchfield, who has modeled what it means to teach with conviction, to lead with vision, and to serve with faithfulness. As we honor his ministry, we also commit ourselves to carrying the torch forward with courage and creativity.
Together, let us renew our strength, rekindle our passion, and reconnect with the One who has called and equipped us for this holy work.
