Christ College
Set within the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park Christ College was founded in 1541 by Henry VIII and every pupil proudly bears the ‘h’ logo that links the current members of the school with the founder. Our school motto which is translated into English from Latin means ‘They achieve because they believe they can’ and this remains as true of today’s pupils as it has been throughout the history of the school; developing personal confidence and the willingness to take on new experiences and challenges are among the core aims of the school.
The Chapel Choir
The Chapel Choir numbers around some 40 pupils and performs every week during term time leading the congregational singing and performing an anthem as part of the main school service on Tuesday mornings in the school’s chapel which dates from the 13th century.
Previous tours have seen the choir visiting Prague Rome and Barcelona as well as a visit to our sister school in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
