The annual CCA Spare Change Auction, Christ Classical Academy's largest annual fundraiser, will take place on Saturday, March 7th at 5:00 pm at The Lannom Center in Dyersburg. 100% of the proceeds go fund CCA's tuition gap. The auction is not a closed event to CCA families but is open to anyone in the community! The auction portion of the event includes the following three categories: spare change auction, live auction, and silent auction. Tickets are $15; admission includes a BBQ dinner. Students 5th grade and above may attend IF they participate with an ALL-IN PADDLE or SPARE CHANGE PADDLE. Students may not be left unsupervised. We anticipate LARGE attendance at this year's auction and will cap ticket sales at 375 people. Therefore, we DO NOT anticipate having tickets to sell at the door. Purchasing tickets early is recommended.
We are requiring ALL auction attendees to pre-register for paddles to avoid long lines the night of the auction. The deadline to pre-register for paddles is Wednesday, February 25th. Each ticket should have a paddle registration. There are two paddle options to choose from:
All-In Paddle: This paddle costs $200.00 and makes you eligible to win every item in the spare change portion of the auction. All-In Paddles must be paid for by Friday, March 6th. If you are a CCA family, you can drop off payment in the office OR be billed via FACTS. Any paddles not paid for by that deadline will be billed via FACTS the following week. Anyone who is not a CCA family should drop off a cash/check payment to the CCA office by Friday, March 6th.
Regular Paddle: If you choose this paddle, you will drop in money throughout the auction for the items you want to be eligible to win. If you do not place money in the bowl in the center of the table and your number is called, you DO NOT win the item. You can only win items that you have put money in the bowl for PRIOR to the number being drawn/called. There will be a bank at the auction to get quarters/dollar bills.
