Join us on October 4th at 10am at the Gregg County Courthouse in Longview, TX for an event to pray, sing, and celebrate Christian beliefs and living!
The leaders of this event are Christian pastors. We are Christians, first and foremost. Our duties and responsibilities are primarily to our own families and churches.
However, we are also Americans and East Texans. We live in Gregg County, and we are deeply interested in the wellbeing of our neighbors and communities.
We mean for this event to be an encouragement to Christians in our area, reminding one another and publicly declaring that our beliefs and practices are normal (not radical), traditionally American (not a threat to democracy), and loving (not hateful).
Christians who believe in traditional marriage and family are normal.
Christians who believe in biblical virtue, orderly society, and just punishment for criminals are traditionally American.
Christians who believe in upholding the value and dignity of human life at every stage and who believe that maleness and femaleness are to be embraced as God's good design are loving.
As we celebrate and promote basic Christian values, we will pray for the good of our county, our state, and our nation.
