We have some exciting news to share with you!
The Chris Tomlin concert, hosted by Howard Payne University, has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Brownwood Event Center outdoor stage, 601 Baker St.
As an original ticket holder for the April concert, we wanted you to be among the first to know about this exciting update.
Thanks to the generosity of the Bruner Auto Family and the collaboration between Howard Payne University, the City of Brownwood and community partners, this concert will be free and open to the entire community.
No tickets are required for the Sept. 20 concert. Admission will be first come, first served, so your original April ticket will not be needed for entry.

Gates open: 4:30 p.m.
Concert begins: 6:30 p.m.
Admission: FREE — No ticket required
You are welcome to bring lawn chairs, and food will be permitted inside the venue. Coolers are not permitted.

We are incredibly grateful for your patience and enthusiasm as we worked through the postponement and the many details involved in rescheduling an event of this size. What began as a ticketed concert has become an opportunity for Howard Payne University and the community to come together for a free night of worship featuring one of the most influential artists in contemporary Christian music.
