A powerful and raunchy rhythm & blues 5-piece producing classic blues with a hint of jazz, a touch of “sauce” and lots of nostalgia

Chris Lord - vocals
Chris’ vocals are emotional, powerful and raunchy, she is often likened to artists such as Dana Gillespie and Connie Lush. Chris started her singing career in soul and rock bands but soon discovered the blues and has not looked back since. Chris fronts the band delivering often cheeky, sometimes rude lyrics with a definite feminine twist.

Rick Booth - guitar
Rick started playing in pubs & clubs at the age of 16, he developed an interest in rock, jazz & blues earning his living playing alongside some great musicians on cruise ships. Rick played guitar in the 1970s chart-topping band The Climax Blues Band and joined the cast of the Broadway hit show “Oh Boy!”

Rick Philpott - drums
Rick is largely self-taught and at the age of 17 joined the rock band Mortal Disguise then went on to play with Celtic rock band Splitting Rocks for 25 years. Rick has also played in many big bands playing alongside artists such as Chris Smith and Herb Miller (brother of Glenn).

Donald Lang - sax
Don started playing aged 15 and was influenced by artists such as Stan Getz, Dave Brubeck and many others. He spent time playing in bands in Copenhagen & Paris and also performed for Prince Charles at his 40th birthday party.

Geoff Burroughs - bass
Geoff joined the rock band Ruff Justice at age 18 and in the early 90s played with The Dorset Big Band. In 1997 he co-founded a 9-piece function band called Night Creatures and played with them for 11 years.
