Chris Chalmers and Lonesome Pete - Special Sunday Session

Join us for a special afternoon performance full of heart, soul, and unforgettable songs on Sunday 4th October when Chris Chalmers, formerly of The 2:19, will make his solo debut performance at the BT Blues & Rock Club alongside guitarist, singer and songwriter Lonesome Pete.
Chris has recently played a string of sold out solo shows, as well as sharing a stage with Liam Ó Maonlaí and Peter O'Toole of Hothouse Flowers, and being invited to perform at a major festival in the North East of England — further cementing his reputation as a powerful and compelling live performer. Fresh from the release of his critically acclaimed debut album with The Souvenirs, Way Back Home — which stormed into the IBBA Album Chart at No. 8 and is earning rave reviews and worldwide airplay.
Lonesome Pete is a one-man blues act from Whitehead, often described as Northern Ireland's answer to Seasick Steve. Blending blues standards with foot-stomping original songs, his raw, energetic performances feature an array of handcrafted instruments, guitars, and foot drum. His 2021 album The Devil's Deal continues to receive airplay and acclaim, with recent recognition from the IBBA and blues radio stations across the UK.
