Join us for a relaxing midweek music break during the sixth season of Music in the Courtyard, a free concert series in the beautiful Historic Pima County Courthouse Courtyard.
Presented in partnership with Art State Arizona, Pima County Attractions & Tourism, Visit Tucson and the Tucson Folk Festival, this live music series brings local talent to the heart of downtown Tucson - perfect for a midday break, lunch outing, or cultural escape in your workday. Featuring a rotating lineup of Tucson Folk Festival artists and regional performers.
Chris Baron is a singer-songwriter known for his dynamic big band sound and engaging stage presence. Winner of the 2022 Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, Chris has become a beloved Tucson Folk Festival favorite, returning year after year as a staple of the festival lineup and of its volunteer base. Performing primarily west of the Rockies and in Texas, he crafts music described as “pleasing to the senses.” With a style that is both tight and loose, Baron brings energy and originality to the folk rock scene.
