Chowder Challenge along Flagler Avenue!

Grab a spoon and stroll Flagler Avenue for the heartiest day of the year — The New Smyrna Beach Chowder Challenge! Taking place on Sunday, January 25th, 2025, from 1–5pm.

Patrons will enjoy multiple delicious samples along Flagler Avenue, including New England, Manhattan, & Specialty Chowder Categories! After tasting, cast your vote for the best Chowder — winning hosts will win the coveted “Best at the Beach” awards! Participation is $20 and guaranteed to be a tasty good time!

Just like our other Food Challenges on Flagler Avenue, you’ll use your tasting passport to visit each host location and try one sample of Chowder! Pick up your passport at the Welcome Porch (401 Flagler Avenue, at the corner of S. Cooper Street & Flagler Avenue) on the day of the event.

DAY OF, CASH ONLY - LIMITED PASSPORTS will be for sale on the day of the event, starting at 12:30pm, however, we strongly suggest pre-ordering your passport here on Eventbrite as WE WILL SELL OUT!
