Choreography Workshop
Ages 10 & Up
Date & Time: July 13th-16th from 10:00am-12:00pm
Our choreography camp is designed for dancers who are ready to explore their creativity and step into the role of choreographer and performer. Throughout the week, students will create an original solo, duet, or trio from start to finish, with guidance from instructors. Dances can be any style such as ballet, tap, acro, or jazz.
Dancers will:
Choose their own song and concept
Learn how to edit music (if needed)
Create original choreography
Select a costume that complements their movement and concept from our costume stock or their own.
Gain experience rehearsing and performing in a theater setting
Weekly Breakdown:
Monday: Finalize music and concept; begin choreography at Movement on Main
Tuesday: Continue choreography; finalize costume choice at Movement on Main
Wednesday: Bring costume; complete choreography at Movement on Main
Thursday: Dress rehearsal at ZCT and evening performance at ZCT
Performance will be Thursday Evening, July 16th at ZCT
Tuition: $75
This camp is perfect for dancers who want to deepen their artistry, build confidence, and experience the full creative process from idea to stage. Dancers are encouraged to come to camp with a few choreography ideas and song options.
