Family and Domestic Violence is an injustice that affects members of churches as much as it affects members of our broader community.
The 16 Days of Activism campaign to prevent gender-based violence is a global campaign by the United Nations that begins 25 November - the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and concludes 10 December - Human Rights Day.

We will bring in our Purple Bench inside the Cathedral for the service, and it will be blessed for its presence in Cathedral Square.
Purple benches honour all victims of domestic homicide, as well as featuring information for those who need advice and support relating to domestic violence, encouraging people to contact the WA Women’s Domestic Violence helpline - (08) 9223 1188 or 1800 007 339.
