Welcome to Chop & Clay- an evening of creativity, connection, and good food, hosted by MudSoul and Servèe. This is more than just a dinner—it’s a gathering for those who crave something deeper than a night out and more engaging than a night in.

Set in Bread & Butter Lounge, a thoughtfully curated third space, the evening unfolds in an intimate, homey yet stylish setting. Contemporary yet grounding, it’s a place to connect, be present, and experience something truly special.

The night begins with a MudSoul Pottery workshop, a creative and immersive experience blending clay, culture, and connection. Led by ceramic artist Alesha Charmaine, this hands-on session invites you to sculpt, shape, and explore your creativity while vibing to the smooth sounds of R&B and soul. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned creative, this is a chance to slow down, reconnect with your inner child, and experience the therapeutic magic of clay in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Then, we’ll gather around a long communal table for a beautifully prepared three-course meal by Servèe. Expect a Sunday roast, reimagined—comforting yet refined, where simplicity meets intention. Every dish is crafted with care, celebrating the beauty of home-cooked food, from the way it’s seasoned and presented to the shared experience of dining together.

Throughout the night, enjoy welcome drinks, carefully selected wines, and soulful sounds—a DJ curating a mix of jazz and smooth, feel-good tunes to set the perfect mood. As the evening flows, the space will transition from dinner to drinks, and for those who feel like it, a little dancing.

Info: Start making! -Participants use air-dry clay and begin crafting your unique pieces. - Guidance on various hand-building techniques (pinching, coiling, slab building). - Creativity and exploration; reconnect with your inner child. You can create a Mothers day themed piece! A Love heart Ashtray, a decoration, candle holder, jewellery holder or an ornament!
