A Daylong Workshop with Tara Brach and Jonathan Foust

We are living in shadow times marked by violence, injustice, climate collapse and growing division. Many find that with each new crisis they are almost surprised not to be more disturbed. Rather, the response is often anxiety, overwhelm or numbness. Some part of us knows: we’re in a collective trance.

It is natural and healthy to feel outrage, fear and heartbreak. When met with presence, though, these very emotions become gateways to new possibilities —they awaken you to a more fierce and tender love for life.

Staying connected to that love takes intention. It means returning again and again to your direct, embodied experience. It means choosing love—not as a sentiment, but as a path of inner freedom and outward transformation.

In this daylong gathering, we’ll explore meditation, relational practices, movement, and the healing power of community. Together, we’ll strengthen our capacity to stay awake, open-hearted and engaged in a way that serves our precious, hurting world.

Program Cost:

Tara and Jonathan are deeply committed to making these invaluable teachings as widely accessible as possible, particularly to members of underserved and marginalized communities. There are three tuition levels for this event, please choose the one that feels right for you:

$200 - Benefactor - When you choose this tuition level, your extra contribution helps us to provide financial assistance to those who might not otherwise be able to attend.

$165 - General Admission - This tuition level covers the cost of the program, staff and dana for the teachers.

$115 - Financial Need Discount - This tuition level is for those who are experiencing financial hardship and are unable to afford the general admission rate for the program.

$95 - Livestream Only - Participate in the daylong workshop from wherever you are via Zoom. **Please note that a recording of the event is not included with this registration but is available as a separate purchase.

$45 - Recording Only - You will receive online access to the event recording approximately one week after the end of the live workshop. This pricing level does not include access to the in-person or livestream events.
***Limited scholarships are available - you must complete the application by October 15, 2025. Applications received after October 15, 2025 will not be considered.

Refund Policy:

All Refund Requests must be made via the "Request Refund" option in your Eventbrite account. For the in-person event, refunds must be requested by November 30, 2025. There will be a $35 administrative fee, and the balance will be refunded to your original payment method. Tickets are not transferable and refunds will not be available after November 30th.

For the livesstream only portion of the program, you may request a refund up to 24 hours before the program start. Eventbrite processing fees are not refundable.
