Chocolates for Change - Beit Ruth event 2025

Join us for the afternoon at the home of Charna and Stu Cohn. This event, organized by JCNCF and Beit Ruth, will teach us how making gourmet chocolate is being used to teach vocational and life skills to the young women of Beit Ruth.

Beit Ruth for Young Women & Girls At Risk is a long-term therapeutic residence and school with a mission to ensure that vulnerable and at-risk girls are given the opportunity to thrive emotionally, socially and academically, thereby breaking the cycle of violence for themselves and future generations of children in Israel.

Beit Ruth Executive Director Danielle Burenstein will present a video about the Beit Ruth vocational chocolate program and JCNCF Executive Director Linda Maurice will share reflections from her recent visit to the Beit Ruth village in Israel. Attendees will also get sweet Israeli treats to take home!
