Chocolate Milk is a 90-minute feature documentary that explores birth and breastfeeding outcomes in the Black community through the stories of three Black women living in South Central Los Angeles - new mother Tami, midwife Racha and WIC lactation educator Lydia. By following these women’s stories, Chocolate Milk illustrates the reproductive health challenges faced by many Black mothers and the struggle to reclaim breastfeeding as a cultural norm. Join us for a free screening of this film, snacks, and a panel discussion. Doors open at 3:00pm and film starts promptly at 3:30pm.
