Canada Homestay Network Social Event for Hosts and their Students. Please join us!

There will be THREE BOAT CRUISES departing from Block House Island in Brockville at 3:15 PM, 4:30 PM, and 5:45 PM. You may choose your departure time. The cruise will last approximately 1 hour. Seats are limited and are on a first come/first served basis.

VERY IMPORTANT POINTS, PLEASE READ:

- This is a great chance for students and host families to plan to join an activity together. If possible, we ask for students and hosts families to discuss this opportunity and register together in one registration entry - each attendee must be registered. (We recognize some students are still awaiting confirmation of their homestay match - if that is the case, the student can go ahead with registering if they want and then mention the registration to their host family after placement is finalized and contact details are shared)

- MAXIMUM TICKETS PER FAMILY: max. 4 family members + CHN student(s). Host families must bring a CHN student to attend. Family members must be living in the same home. If you have a student from a non-CHN program (MLI for example), they count towards your 4 family member tickets.

- Spaces are limited so please ensure you can attend before reserving your tickets. If you aren't able to attend, please inform us at [email protected] asap so the space on the cruise can be offered to others wishing to join.

- This event will take place regardless of the weather.

- This is a social event for hosts, their students and CHN staff. CHN students may attend independently of host families, but we highly encourage hosts to take this opportunity for a shared experience with their students.

- Bus transportation to the event will be offered with central pick-up and drop-off locations expected to be in Carleton Place, Smiths Falls, Athens, Cornwall, Tagwi, Rockland, Russell, North Grenville, and Prescott.

- All attendees (including hosts and host family members) must complete and sign the provided permission form to board the boat.
