About the Artists:
As a dynamic North American fiddle & cello duo, Jocelyn Pettit & Ellen Gira are two well-established musicians, who found together a kindred musical spirit. They fuse traditional and contemporary music styles to create a powerfully uplifting and soulful performance.
Jocelyn & Ellen have been gracing stages and delighting audiences across North America, UK and Europe. As 2024 Canadian Folk Music Award Winners for "Traditional Album of the Year", FolkWorld Magazine calls them “A dazzling duo!”.
For this tour, Jocelyn & Ellen are joined by accomplished Montreal-based guitarist, Everest Witman. Catch this trio in concert for a special evening of high-energy tunes and soulful songs, with nuanced fiddle-cello-guitar interplay, vocal harmonies, lively stepdancing, and French Canadian foot percussion.
