One of the largest and oldest Model United Nations Conferences in Bangladesh is back with yet another four-long-days of meaningful diplomacy, debate, dynamic negotiation, and invaluable learning.
With this year’s theme, “𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭”, CUMUN 2025 underscores the essential role of young people in propelling sustainable innovation and fostering inclusive global advancement through advocacy, creating solutions for a more inclusive, sustainable world. Being at the forefront of advocating for change, by exploring innovative approaches to challenges ranging from the humanitarian crisis to climate resilience to global equity, we aim to empower youth as leaders of positive change and build a stronger foundation for global progress.
Chittagong University Model United Nations Association (CUMUNA), one of the most prominent organizations of the Bangladesh MUN fraternity, has been organizing its signature event "CUMUN" since 2015, marking it as a major platform for ambitious young minds in Bangladesh and beyond. Following the legacy of eight highly successful CUMUN conferences in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023 & 2024, now in its latest edition, CUMUN 2025 continues this legacy by bringing together the best and brightest to engage in the essential art of diplomacy.
This year, at the 9th edition of CUMUN, we will be entertaining the enthusiasts with 10 Committees, carefully curated to provide spaces for delegates to hone their skills in negotiation and policy-making while diving deep into today’s most pressing global issues at the policy-making level through the simulation of the UN. The Committees for CUMUN 2025 are:
