The Mayor's Youth Council is working on to help support CHIPZ, Community Hope & Intervention Project of Zephyrhills. This is the non-profit working with the ZPD to help with homelessness intervention. The Youth Council is asked to do a project each year to help strengthen our community and I was overwhelmed when they chose to help support those who are less fortunate in our city.
The Youth Council is partnering with Bahr's Propane Gas & AC and Meals on Wheels to put on a BBQ Chicken Drive Thru event on Nov. 20th, and they have set a goal to bring in $4,000 for the CHIPZ organization.
