Step back in time and discover what life was like for Northern Kentucky's earliest settlers! This August, preschoolers can experience the adventures of pioneer life at Behringer-Crawford Museum.
Preschoolers and their grown-ups are invited to explore "Pioneer Days in NKY," the August session of Chippie's Sensational Kids Club featuring a themed story, early learning activities and hands-on STREAM-based fun.
Children ages 3 to 5 will enjoy a pioneer-themed story, create a take-home craft and participate in a fun, hands-on activity inspired by the daily lives of Northern Kentucky's early pioneers from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13.
Chippie's Sensational Kids Club is designed to support reading readiness, socialization and early discovery through STREAM-based learning (science, technology, reading, engineering, art and math). Sessions are held monthly at the museum, located at 1600 Montague Road in Devou Park, Covington.
Cost: $3 per child plus museum admission
Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required at least four days in advance.
