Snug Harbor’s Chinese Scholar’s Garden is the first authentic scholar’s garden built in the United States. Based on the classical Ming Dynasty period, our Garden presents the four essential elements of the traditional garden: rocks, water, plants, and architecture. Explore how each element demonstrates the opposing principles of yin and yang and reveals the philosophical traditions of thousands of years.When:
**Tours are offered twice daily, with sessions running from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM.**
