In many religions and beliefs around the world, there is a form of Snake as one of the main beings in the story. Nordic, Chinese, Christian, Shamanic, and many more to count.
Snakes represent wisdom, healing through shedding ones skin, and being grounded and in tune with Mother Earth, as she is the closest to walk upon the soil.
In this session, we chose the Kundalini snake from the Hindu pantheon.
The term "Kundalini" is a Sanskrit word which means "coiled snake".
Kundalini is a concept in Hinduism that refers to a dormant primal feminine energy (Shakti) that is located in the base of the spine.
When activated, this snake moves up the spine, through the chakras, and when it reaches the top it activates Spiritual Enlightenment, or the best potential that each of us is capable of.
This can lead to greater awareness of body/mind connection, mindfulness, stress relief and your Higher Purpose.
We will be using mudras (finger positioning), guided journeying & sound healing with Reiki during this session.
Please bring whatever you need to feel comfortable lying on the floor; mats, pillows, blankets. Chairs are provided upon request.
