In many religions and beliefs around the world, there is a form of Snake as one of the main beings in the story. Nordic, Chinese, Christian, Shamanic, and many more to count.
Snakes represent wisdom, healing through shedding ones skin, and being grounded and in tune with Mother Earth, as she is the closest to "walk" upon the soil.
In this session, we chose the Kundalini snake from the Hindu pantheon.
The term "Kundalini" is a Sanskrit word which means "coiled snake".
Kundalini is a concept in Hinduism that refers to a dormant primal feminine energy (Shakti) that is located in the base of the spine.
When activated, this snake moves up the spine, through the chakras, and when it reaches the top it activates Spiritual Enlightenment, or the best potential that each of us is capable of.
This can lead to greater awareness of body/mind connection, mindfulness, stress relief and your Higher Purpose.
This activation will be guided by our Reiki Sis-Star, Cassandra Pierce from Universal Healings. Cassandra is versed in Kundalini Yoga, Reiki Master Teacher and World Explorer (among other things!) Cass will be running us through about a 4-45- minute session of some kriyas, breathwork, poses & mudras (finger positioning) for activation, plus some guided journeying & sound healing with Reiki during this session.
Please bring whatever you need to feel comfortable. Cass recommends you wear white and bring a head covering (this is optional).
There will be some movement and you will also be lying on the floor; dress comfortably, bring any mats, pillows, blankets. Chairs are provided upon request.
