Join us for an afternoon of culture, celebration, and good fortune as we welcome the Lunar New Year. Enjoy festive décor, Volcano Cake, coffee, and jasmine tea, along with a special lion dance performance by the students of Edmonton Kun Seng Keng, featuring traditional drumming and a ceremonial scroll opening.Learn about the tradition of red envelopes and take part by placing money into envelopes and feeding the lions during the performance — a meaningful gesture of appreciation that symbolizes prosperity, protection, and luck for the year ahead. Participation is optional.
