Chinese New Year Celebration

Step into the Lunar New Year with an intimate evening of celebration marking both Chinese New Year’s Day and the 10th anniversary of the University of Glasgow–Nankai partnership.​

This cosy gathering will feature live Peking Opera performances in full costume, alongside hands-on traditional craft experiences inspired by Chinese intangible cultural heritage, such as cloisonné, Jia Ma woodblock printing and other interactive activities. With fewer than 30 public places available, you’ll have time and space to chat with performers, try the crafts, and enjoy light refreshments in a relaxed setting.​
