Chinese Music on Western Instrument and Voice

Join us for the third annual MM Music Studio Chinese Music Concert—an evening that brings Chinese musical traditions to life through Western instruments and voice.
Building on the success of the past two concerts, this year’s program expands the sound of the series. Alongside piano, violin and cello, voice joins the stage, bringing a new expressive dimension to a thoughtfully selected program of Chinese music.
The concert features a distinguished lineup of professional performers: pianist Mengmeng Zhang, violinist Dr. Jillian Yang, cellist Susan Millar Boldissar and vocalist Jia Li. Each artist brings extensive performance experience and a strong individual musical voice. Together, they will present an evening that is refined, engaging and welcoming to both longtime music lovers and first-time concertgoers.
During intermission, guests are also invited to explore a silent auction featuring artwork by local artists.
Admission is free, but donations are welcome and help us keep this community concert accessible to everyone.
